Ok I just asked my mom what Kunafa is, or 'Kunefe' and she said it's a bad word. lol
What the hell, I'm sure it's referred to something else in Armenian, or EA, for that matter.

I've never heard of 'Kunefe'....and neither has my mother, it seems.

Must have been a western Armenian thing.... watch the video, maybe it'll be close to some other dessert you've seen before.

It's the "Khadaif" I know. mmmmmm I love Khadaif, just as much as "Pakhlava", and we put on it homemade syrup and that's it. I like the idea of putting on top some smashed pistaccio. Also some "ser" (in Armenian) on top of it or rather on the side makes it the yummiest dessert ever. Shad shad hamov gella yev shad ge sirem!!!

I like how we make it more than they do it. They put honey instead of homemade syrup. I like syrup better.
