Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Re: Hamas leader killed in Dubai

    You anti-Israel people are hilarious.

Israel's competence depends on whenever it's convenient for you.

Israel/xxxs can take over the world and control everything and they must be stopped.

At the same time, they can't carry out assassinations without being outsmarted by Dubai.

Actually, they have been identified. According to Dubai police anyway. It's another matter altogether if you choose to take the British and Irish governments' word as true, as opposed to that of the Dubai police. Read the Dubai police head's statement, for heaven's sake. It wasn't "nothing".

I don't know - it would definitely be hugely weird if any intelligence agency defined its success as merely killing the target, even if that means having the pictures and names of its agents printed on front pages of world newspapers. But that might be just me. The invisible Mossad is no longer so invisible, is it? And I guess their "by way of deception thou shalt do war" motto is now only about some pathetic disguises in the form of wigs and moustaches.

IF the passports/documents were real, then why don't the Dubai police issue warrants for the arrest of those people since they would have their addresses, phone number, etc of their home nations.
Dun dun dun. They did. Arrest warrants have been issued. Even Interpol issued arrest warrants and red notices.

Read my posts.. I never claimed Israel controls everything. I never even claimed Israel controls anything....... In fact, I thought I was arguing Israel is run by a bunch of incompetent gangstas.

Re: Hamas leader killed in Dubai

Dubai knows nothing of the whereabouts of the Mossad Agents as the passports were in fact fake. Britain is mad about it.
          -------------------------------------------
British threat to Israel over Dubai Hamas assassination

Britain will consider severing its intelligence-sharing agreement with Israel if Mossad agents are proved to have stolen the identities of British passport holders, The Daily Telegraph has learnt.

Ministers are understood to be furious that an alleged hit squad which murdered a Hamas leader in Dubai last month cloned the passports of six unsuspecting Britons, who are now living in fear of reprisals.

Israel, which has not denied involvement in the murder, had previously promised that Mossad, its secret intelligence service, would never use British passports to help its agents carry out covert operations.

Re: Hamas leader killed in Dubai

Actually, as I said before, you seem to be in denial about the fact that Dubai police has insisted that the passports were not fake. This means that the British were in collusion with the Israelis on this issue and are now trying to save face after the whole thing fell apart. The article in the Independent (UK) also argues pretty much the same thing. And this is not the first time the UK has colluded with Israel and conspired against Arabs.

At best, we have two contradictory claims. As I said, I am far more willing to believe the Dubai police, which has so far acted competently and professionally, than a bunch of professional liars (politicians -- and British politicians at that).

I really don't get your blind fanatical insistence that this was successful intelligence work by the Mossad, when all indicators point to the opposite. As if this is the first time this has happened........... need I remind you of the attempt on the life of Khaled Mesh'al in Amman? Oh yeah, that was a huge one as well, even though the guy almost died and was saved in the last minute after the Jordanian king demanded the anti-dote. An intelligence operation is marked as a success not just by the killing of the target. The idea is to do the killing in a professional manner. A bunch of amateur gangsters could have killed that Hamas guy in his hotel room too, and gotten away before anyone could know about it.

By the way, an article in a NZ paper (there was a notorious case a few years ago, of Israelis using NZ passports to carry out assassinations) pointed out that many NZ J ews of dual nationality (Israeli & NZ) have indicated their willingness to lend the Mossad their own passports to carry out assassinations. So, the passports are not fake usually (and it's impossible to fake passports with holograms - it's easily detectable by trained airport staff, which Dubai staff are..), and, even if the passports are not the passports of the people who were in Dubai, they could have been gotten hold of by those agents BECAUSE those individuals voluntarily gave Mossad their passports. In which case, they are just as complicit in the assassination as those agents, and must be arrested by Interpol.

Re: Hamas leader killed in Dubai

this is from the NZ Herald:

Keep your passport away from the spies
One question that the British Government might ask - but probably won't dare - is whether its own citizens did lend their identities to Israel in the first place.

As I wrote in September 2004, Israel's security services are long practised in the dubious art of "borrowing" foreign passports from smart, bilingual young Israelis with dual nationality.
              ...
South African-born security analyst Hirsh Goodman said he knew of instances where "friends have had their passports taken for two months, three months and have come back with all sorts of stamps in them".
              ..
And a former Mossad official also told me then that such "passport farming" was becoming more difficult as countries moved to introduce biometric identification in the wake of growing international terrorism.

Latest breaking news articles, photos, video, blogs, reviews, analysis, opinion and reader comment from New Zealand and around the World - NZ Herald
So - the above indicates that either they successfully "farmed" some people's passports who had voluntarily handed it to them, or, the ones whose pictures and names we have now, were really those who were present in Dubai. Take your pick. Both are equally bad for Israel , and in both cases , we have the names and identities of at least some of those who were involved/complicit in the assassination, whether directly or indirectly.

Your pro israeli stance is a dis service to Armenians. I hope you realize that israel is not a friendly nation to Armenia. Do I need to bring up the role zionist/israeli lobby has played in not getting the Armenian Genocide approved in either the u.s., u.k., or israel (nation founded because of a genocide!). Or the arms sales to and warm diplomatic relationship with azerbaijan.
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

I criticize all those aspects of Israel regarding Armenia and Armenians. However, I don't get emotional and start crying about everything Israel does just because it has an unenviable policy towards us. I judge every one of Israel's actions on it's own merits.

It certainly doesn't come across that way, so maybe you should start being more precise with your writing.

Point to a post I've made regarding Armenia/Israel where I've defended Israel's actions and policies towards Armenia/Armenians.
