What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged

If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

SNOWDEN'S DISCLOSURE: WORLD UNDER THE AMERICAN AND BRITISH SURVEILLANCE

    03.12.2013

    Samvel Martirosyan
Expert, Center for Information Studies, "Noravank" Foundation

The disclosures by the former U.S. National Security Agency employee
Edward Snowden, concerning the actions carried out by the U.S. secret
services on the Web, changed the visions of the information security.

It becomes clear that all the concerns, which were spread by the
various conspiracy theories, are more real than one could imagine.

The disclosures by Snowden demonstrate that the U.S. and British
secret services actively use social networks, e-mail services for
surveillance all over the world. The partner of the NSA is the British
Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ). It became clear that
all the possible means were used for carrying out surveillance -
interference into the work of the servers, data collection from cables,
    virus software, etc.

The first disclosures made by Snowden proved that the U.S. secret
service can penetrate social networks and other platforms' servers
and receive closed information about users. This system is called
PRISM and allows receiving any kind of information about users -
correspondence, connections with other users, IP addresses, etc. It is
referred to the world's biggest social networks, and other platforms
of email correspondence and communication, such as Microsoft (e.g.,
Hotmail), Google (also GMail), Yahoo!, Facebook, YouTube, Skype, AOL,
Apple and Paltalk1. PRISMallows penetrating not only into people's
correspondence but also into telephone calls (VoIP), video calls
(Video conferencing), files sent to each other, which can be seen in
the NSA secret slide disclosed by Snowden (see, Picture 1).

Picture 1 NSA secret slide explaining PRISM system work disclosed
    by Snowden

The NSA has been involving biggest internet corporations in PRISM
program since 2007, by receiving information from Microsoft. At the
end of 2012 Apple was also involved. It can be said that only Twitter
was not mentioned in the list of the biggest networks involved (see
    Picture 2).

Picture 2 The NSA secret slide showing when different corporations
started to cooperate with the Agency

The corporations deny their complicity for the involvement in the
system. But it is clear that they provide some part of information,
under the court decision, to the secret services.

Besides collecting information from the servers, American and British
agencies also collected information directly from the cables. It is
possible because much of the world's communication flow through the
    U.S. territory (see Picture 3).

Picture 3 The NSA secret slide, disclosed by Snowden, showing that
much of the world's communication flow through the U.S., which makes
it possible to carry out surveillance of the email correspondence
    and phone calls.

There is also separate system - MUSCULAR, for processing huge amount
of data. It turned out that the secret services managed to penetrate
into the internal networks of Yahoo and Google and thanks to this
NSA and GCHQ collected more than180 million notes - correspondence,
    photos, videos and other metadata.

Another NSA system called Boundless Informant, allows following on the
map data collection activities from different countries (see Picture
4). The picture provided by Snowden shows that in March 2013 about
3 billion pieces of information were collected only in the U.S. The
countries are presented according to the rate of the activity of
the NSA system: green shows low activity, red - visa verse. At this
picture Armenia is colored yellow, like the U.S., which shows medium
    level activity by the NSA2.

Picture 4 The NSA secret slide, disclosed by Snowden, showing work
    of Boundless Informant system

The U.S. and British agencies carried out targeted surveillance too.

According to Snowden telephones of leaders of 35 countries were
tapped. Though he does not reveal any names, but it is already known
that the Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel was among those leaders.

It is also known that the internal network of the biggest Belgian
telecom operator Belgacom was infected by special virus which
provided surveillance. It should be mentioned that Belgacom provides
communications services to all the high offices of the European Union3.

Snowden's disclosures are still continuing and it is already clear
that the American and British governments were supplied with the total
information which was possible to receive; we mean the surveillance
carried out all over the world, from which almost all the countries
suffered. The European Union plans to establish the intelligence
service of its own in order to oppose such developments4. Now it
is clear that all the reality exceeded all the possible fantasies
concerning this sphere. It is clear that communication cannot remain
the same anymore because confidentiality lost its traditional meaning,
and states and societies all over the world still have to aknowledge
    the situation formed.

US, BRITISH SPIES USE 'ANGRY BIRDS'

      12:44 * 28.01.14

US and British spy agencies routinely try to gain access to personal
data from Angry Birds and other mobile applications, BBC News says,
      citing a report.

A National Security Agency (NSA) document shows location, websites
visited and contacts are among the data targeted from mobile
      applications.

It is the latest revelation from documents leaked by Edward Snowden.

In a statement, the NSA said it was not interested in data beyond
      "valid foreign intelligence targets".

"Any implication that NSA's foreign intelligence collection is focused
on the smartphone or social media communications of everyday Americans
is not true," the statement said.

The report, published by the New York Times, ProPublica and the
Guardian, said the NSA and Britain's GCHQ have worked together since
2007 to develop ways to gain access to information from applications
      for mobile phones and tablets.

The scale of data gathering is unclear.

But the reports suggest data is gained from a variety of mapping,
gaming and social networking applications, using techniques similar
to the ones used to intercept mobile internet traffic and text
      message data.

The documents also reveal the two agencies are increasingly convinced
of the importance of mobile applications data.

The joint spying programme "effectively means that anyone using Google
Maps on a smartphone is working in support of a GCHQ system" one 2008
document from the British intelligence agency is quoted as saying.

Another GCHQ report, in 2012, laid out how to extract information
from Angry Birds user information from phones on the Android operating
system. The game has been download 1.7 billion times across the world.

The British spy agency said it would not comment on intelligence
matters, but insisted that all of its activities were "authorised,
      necessary and proportionate".

Another NSA document described a "golden nugget" - a perfect scenario
where NSA analysts could get broad selections of information from
the applications, including networks the phone had connected to,
documents downloaded, websites visited and "buddy lists".

Other applications mentioned by the documents include the photo-sharing
site Flickr, movie-based social network Flixster and applications
      that connect to Facebook.

Brainwashing starts at an early age. Watch this from 16:20 on. Its about brainwashing kids to accept constant surveillance as the norm.

              Re: Fascist USA

So you think you seen it all...yeh i know the NSA is spying on us, the CIA is spying on congress, all social networks are spying tools..So you think people would be up in arms over this right? Well no they are not. The question is why not? Why are people so complacent about losing their rights and privacy? Is it because they are stupid or don't care or they trust the government(hell the government doesnt trust the spies either anymore). Well the fact is that we are all brainwashed in various ways to accept the bs that is fed to us and this brainwashing starts at an early age. When i point this out i often get hostile feedback even when i present evidence. These misconceptions and distortions of reality are so well imbedded into peoples brains that no amount of facts nor evidence will change how most of these people feel or act or think and this forum is living proof of this. As you may have heard American corporations work hand in hand with the government to spy on us and they do this because they are presented with a carrot and a stick. If you do not spy the government can and will punish you by making lawsuits against you and just plain making your life hell. It can also reward you by giving you technology-just look at your cell phone and things like gps, touchscreen technology, internet,..are all government technologies given to corporations for their cooperation. These corporations in turn have to make you feel comfortable about a uncomfortable situation so they brainwash you using media and other sources. You may think that yes i know this and therefore it does not really work on me..well let me ask you - did you know this when you were 4 years old, how about 8 or how about 16..just when did you think you became aware? And how much were you brainwashed until your "awareness"? To give you an idea how early brainwashing starts and to rightfully increase your selfdoubt about just how unbrainwashed you are just watch this video http://21stcenturywire.com/2014/01/2...nanny-society/ Now think about how this will impact the way our kids think. Now if you think brainwashing like this is new or that this is the only example then you are not aware of all the effective brainwashing you yourself have been exposed to ever since you could watch tv or read a book..This is why when i say we are hordes of brainwashed people very much like zombies...i am not off the mark. I get a lot of heat for telling it like it is because people do not want to question the alternative reality they think they live in. I meet people all the time who think Snowden is a traitor but would you know what you now know if not for him? People say he should have stayed and face the justice system...yeh right like mr Manning who is spending the rest of his life in jail. People are so brainwashed that they think the security survailance state is their friend not their enemy and this video is an excellent example of why people think this way.

The videos here are extremely graphic murders and decapitations by the muslim crazies in Syria of chrystians and other muslims. Do not watch if you can't handle graphic violence and death. The reason i am posting it in this thread is because this is the result of western/zzionist policies regarding the middle east. Unlike the ignorant nun in the last video i do not blame islam for it-like all religions they are simply tools for the powerful to get what they want.

                  Re: Fascist USA

Today the Supreme Court of the USA proved yet again beyond the shadow of any doubt that there is no corner or nook of the USA government where corruption does not reign supreme. Lifting limitations on how much anyone can contribute to political candidates is the exact opposite of what the people of the USA needed. This puts even more power in the hands of the very few while taking it away from most of us. It will also make inequality even worst then it is. This is not the end of it either. You will see a push for donor anonymity soon. Powerful people and interest groups will be able to exercise unlimited power over the USA government while remaining anonymous. Believe it or not today there is more separation of powers in the government of Armenia then there is in the USA.

Didn't Obama enable that already by allowing the rich to contribute large sums anonymously to a third party organisations and then for that organisation to donate the funds to whatever candidate it supports?
