What exactly is Israel's goal? It wouldn't start and end with a couple attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities. Iran having nuclear technology isn't the reason for so many wealthy investors being against Iran's policies. Israel knows it would force Iran to counter strike and pull the U.S. military into that battle as the troops are already strategically in the region. The result would be a large spike in oil prices (prices that have already been rigged by future contracts)

Remember Netenyahu is up for re-election soon. He needs to look tough and conflict usually boosts popularity. Israel needs constant conflict to survive as a nation.

Israel has a expansionist agenda and their goal is the establishment of a Greater Israel. Whilst Iran's missiles stationed in Lebanon and Syria are deterrent designed to ward off an Israeli attack. In many respects the Israelis regional ambitions are more effectively countered more by Egypt, than by either Iran or Turkey.

Sorry but I've never been hardcore pro-Israeli ever or anti-Iranian. There were some Iranian users that had been arguing for a greater Iran with Armenia in it and I was arguing against them and I was arguing for Armenia not to be involved in Israeli-Palestinian affairs.

There is nothing more disgusting than the nation of Israel and its U.S. lobby. I would love nothing more than to see Israel crushed by my former country. Unfortunately, that is unlikely considering the military, and specifically, the aerial capabilities of Israel.

No way Mher. Israeli Airforce will take a bad beating if they ever dare to bomb Iran. First of all as you know Iran is a big country. Second of all the Nuclear factories and infrastructures are barried under mountains (even the American B1, B52s couldn't properly reach it with Bunker Busters). Third of all Iranian Airforce is no joke, also their anti aircraft missiles are very advanced and well placed, there F-14s will intersept the Israeli war planes from unknown bases that have been setup. Iranian pilots are exeptionally good at what they do. There will be no doubt that Israeli pilots will be shot down and captured. And finally we are talking about Iranians who know how to fight. The retaliation against Israel will be very painful and every Iranian who is against the Mullah's regime will fight for Iran to the last blood. Even with the help of US they will not succeed (maybe at first but it will become very bad at the end once Iran regroups). The only way Israel can win against Iran is to use its Nukes.

Any attack on Iran will justify aquisition of Nuclear bomb by Iran, if they don't have it they are going to get it now for sure and no one can complain ....not to mention warmongering Israel will loose support from international community on an illegal war they started and face a major defeat from Iran that could bring its end.

I hope you are right. It is shameful that they couldn't add the S-300 to that defense system. It would be incredible to see Israel defeated and eliminated once and for all. We need Iran in every way imaginable. The consequences of a defeated and partitioned Iran would be deadly for Armenia.

I would have thought just the constant threat of being attacked would be enough to try and acquire
the ultimate defence weapon.

In both Iraq and Libya the first stage was to eliminate any (possibility of a) threat of nuclear capability
while they were being outmanoeuvred and ultimately destroyed.

On the other hand despite flirting with the idea of regime change in North Korea, every time they back off.

Iran having nuclear weapons will make the situation between Israel and Iran like the Cold War between US and USSR. Israel doesn't have to worry about losing support from international community, as long as they have US/J3wish lobby by their side they can get away with many things.
