I've had enough of the politics, government, etc talk. Time for a random question...

Is it better to work to be able to live or to live to be able to work? Why?
The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function. -- F. Scott Fitzgerald

      Neither.

For each her/his own, what ever makes you happy that is what's essential.

I find it strange here that you seem to encourage individualism, yet in the other thread, you seem to support the collective mass mindedness of government. Just a thought, not that I want to get the government talk in this thread and defile it.

God how does one grow not to love your character? Mrutes mrut! (Eastern Armenian). You grow on me like a fungus! And I don’t mean it sarcastically!

Let's not continue regarding this issue in this thread but just to drop a note: Individualism works to its limits and so does Gov't, they both need to be equally combined to provide us with a rational living. Collectivism works best with a drop of individualism and visa versa and that is the beauty of it you do not have to chose one yet you can work with both.
