I wrote a little poem

I watch from afar to see your path,
not intended for me to follow
at least not like I once did

But I remember that you gave me happiness
and I have faith that you can make many more,
as happy as you made me

I don't mind if my voice is unheeded
my spirit does not need an answer
to smile

Our memories will melt away with the spring
and give new life

The winds that blew in our favour once
will change their course

But old smiles... even if never reproduced,
will last forever

it just takes one pause
in our daily cycle
and we can see them again

I was inspired by something that happened to me, and one night I just wrote it all out. Later, when I decided to post it on the internet, I felt that it applies to more than the person who inspired me to write it, it applies to everyone in my life.
