Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Did you know? Armenia is in Asia. Tom, Asian girls rock!!!
    Between childhood, boyhood,
    adolescence
    & manhood (maturity) there
should be sharp lines drawn w/
    Tests, deaths, feats, rites
    stories, songs & judgements

Whether they may be called/considered Armenian or not, is a separate discussion, a matter of of opinion, a subjective appreciation; however, the facts - i.e. objective reality - remain that they have served - and continue to do so - the Armenian Nation, while the Ktachn Nazar skinheads on this forum do little more than brag about being "real Armenians" - of course, in the comfort of their room.
Considering their contribution, I'd rather see them as part of our nation, than hideous and worthless skinheads.

            Re: A TomServo Moment

That is the first step down to the road of no return. Woe is us. When you perpetuate the mixture of our commonfolk with every genotype, you further the goals of expunging whatever else remains of the organic soul of a people. The Japanese would never consider you to be "Japanese" simply because you spoke their language or wore a kimono, ate a sushi everyday, and got drunk with the local zen master over some sake, despite the marginal exceptions TomServo was so kind in sharing with us (I suspect out of sheer Asian fetish). In fact, the far East is careful not to experiment with such foolishness. You will not find this fascination with "diversity" in China, the Koreas or Japan.

But leave it to relativists and the blithe post-modernists, who like to revel in the chicanery of egalite.

And lest you want to be taken seriously Siamanto, you should refrain from referring to those who hold a different view as "skinheads." You whine, bytch and insult others about tolerance and and other hippie values you hold in esteem, yet you are the most intolerant and often act like a child, which is mind boggling that you don't see this contradiction.

It seems you cannot even engage in the most basic discussion without somehow resorting to personal attacks and emotional outbursts, much like a woman, and I've noticed this about you for a long time. If there is anyone with the slightest disagreement with your paradigm, that even remotely gives you a crack in your edifice of thought, they are a threat and must be verbally belittled to make your paradigm feel vindicated.

If that is how you get your jollies and feel good about yourself, who am I to say anything? But please, for god's sake, sometimes you should just relax and address whatever it is that you find so wrong or distasteful instead of dodging it by erecting intellectual Berlin Walls via insults and childishness. And now you will say some other quirky thing with a smiley or two and pretend nothing is different or how you are so much better and take the high road rather than addressing those "lowly beings" who hold such rubbish as "values."

He summed it up pretty well.
He may have "summed up pretty well" what you have imagined what we have said; the questions is: Do you have the courage to jump out of your imagination, and into the real world, face the facts, and let us know where - i.e. a reference to our posts - we have actually said it????
As a "Truthseeker," shouldn't you base your arguments on facts????

I asked you for an explanation/clarification, not a paraphrase of the same; repeating is differnt from clarifying???? Thanks!
By the way, do you understand the difference between an Asian and a mongoloid????

              I continue to wonder!
You are simply repeating the same "accusation," based on facts that seem to have occurred in your own imagination. Unfortunately - or fortunately, reality may not necessarily correspond your imagination?????

No we are not, look up the difference between respect and civility.
The relationship - i.e. differences, similarities, affinities, nuances, "cause-to-effect" etc. - between "respect" and "civility" is an interesting discussion; but, who did equate/relate/compare "civility" and "respect???" My question was about the part in bold, in what follows:

Don't you think that the question "How do you earn it?" was a clear hint???? You let your imagination invent wander around and get lost, yet fail to see what is in front of you, the (almost) obvious????

Are you admitting that you have - or may have - disrespected??? In that case, how can you expect to be respected???

                Re: A TomServo Moment

I posted a response but I guess Mouse found a good reason to delete it. Anyways I will just say this. Armenians should marry Armenians, and if they don't at least they should try to marry a Caucasian. Those with half Armenian blood, including the people that you posted are welcome to serve Armenia and learn about a part of their roots, but I would hope that if they choose to serve our nation that one of the ways they do so is to marry a 100% Armenian so that their offspring will be more Armenian, and the their offspring will hopefully marry a 100% Armenian too, etc. I want proud, patriotic Armenians, if they happen not to be 100% Armenian that is not a crime (in fact I've met 50% Armenians who were more patriotic than some 100% Armenians), but what should be considered a crime is Armenians advocating race mixing!

The African Hrant who's pic you posted does not have Armenian blood in him, he was adopted and grew up in Armenia, he is also a member of an Armenian pop group Hetq or something like that. While he may be a great guy, he is not an ethnic Armenian, something that one is born into, not converted to like a joo. And before you claim otherwise, I understand the difference between an ethnic Armenian and an Armenian citizen, which is what Hrant is.

For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

However, this thread has outlived its use.
