I was driving home today and happened to hear "Summertime," the comeback single by New Kids on the Block, and it reminded me how much I hate summer.
I hate the heat. I hate children and teenagers not being in school. I hate beaches. (All of these things are mentioned in the song).
Anyway, toward the end of New Kids on the Block's celebration of their midlife crises, they start singing about how the seasons are changing and winter is approaching, and the music gets all slow and serious (as if summer is the only season when a guy can drink and fuck bitches).
