  • School Talk!

Hey, decided to start a thread where you can discuss about the school you're going to/want to attend, your future plans, your goals, and any other questions you might have that you think others might know.

With that in mind, I have a plan, but I'm not sure if it is possible.

Well, to start things off, I first wanted to attend a private Art School called The Art Center, but the tuition is too much, and I'd rather go to a different school.

So, I currently got 36 units. I'm taking 16 now, and I wanna transfer to CSUN to get my Bachelors in Animation, which will take me an additional 2 years.

But I also wanna be a Plastic Surgeon, and I have to first get a Bachelors in Biology [or whatever it is to become a Plastic Surgeon].

After I use my GE units towards my Bachelors in Animation, do I have to do my GE's all over again to get my Bachelors in Biology, or will I just have 2 more years of school left?

For plastic surgeon you need to become a doctor first and than do surgery I think.

I know, but my question was, the GE that I do now, and then when I follow the track to get my degree in Animation, do I have to go back and do my GE's again, or not?

But I asked me cousin, and I don't have to, from what he told me.

Doesn't really matter what you get your degree in for medical school. In order to be a surgeon, you have to do well on the MCATs to say the least and get into med school.

If that is in your plans, don't waste any time on art school. You can always do art later but it's not that easy prepping for med school "later". You got to start now and you have to work in a very systematic and focused way towards it.
                  this post = teh win.
