Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

    FIRST ANNUAL HYECLUB FORUM AWARDS

    December 20, 2008
    Hosted by One-Way

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to begin by thanking each member who is present tonight.
I would also like to thank you all for placing in your nominations for tonight's ceremony.
HyeClub Forum has been around for several years but tonight is a special night.
We are here to announce the winners for the First Annual HyeClub Forum Awards.

History is being made tonight with the recognition of our beloved members.
There are eighteen categories for tonight's ceremony as we wish to see who will take home these golden trophies.
Without further ado, we would like to begin the presentation for the First Annual HyeClub Forum Awards.

    BEST THREAD

The HyeClub Forum is a small community of friends.
However, a forum is only as powerful as its discussions.
Tonight, we would like to begin by presenting the award for Best Thread.

    …and the winner is…

    ANKAP!
Runner-Up: The Rise of the Russian Empire: Russo-Armenian Relations

During the final count of each nomination, it seemed possible that the Russo-Armenian Relations thread may surpass the Ankap thread.
However, HyeClub Forum members stood proudly by the beloved thread which nearly has 10,000 posts.
I would like to take this award on behalf of the Ankap thread. Thank you.

    ---

    MOST PATRIOTIC POSTER

We would now like to award our first winner of the First Annual HyeClub Forum Awards.
The Most Patriotic Poster award is a prestigious award which illustrates just how dedicated our members are to our homeland.

    …and the winner is…

    ARMENIAN!

Armenian won the majority of the votes with a landslide victory!

    ---

    MOST CONTROVERSIAL POSTER

Whether you've been here for several years or several weeks, I'm sure you have seen much controversy.
During this year alone, there have been many controversial posters; some of whom have been banned and others who post to this day.
The Most Controversial Poster award is truly unique in the sense that is proves just how many eyebrows this poster has raised.

    …and the winner is…

    VIGILANTE!

Vigilante became infamous at the HyeClub Forum after registering in 2008.
Soon, his threads became notorious and he was banned several times.
I truly doubt anybody could forget the legacy Vigilante has left here.
Unfortunately, Vigilante could not be here tonight to claim this award, for obvious reasons.

    ---

    MOST RANDOM POSTER

Our next award is for the Most Random Poster.
There have been many “random” posters who chime in with useless knowledge.
This award recognizes their worthless contribution.

    …and the winner is…

    TOMSERVO!

Folks, TomServo took this award home in a landslide victory.
His anime-loving posts seem to stand out, making him a definite winner.

    ---

POSTER YOU MOST WANT TO HANG OUT WITH

The following award is for Poster You Most Want To Hang Out With.
Truly, a great achievement which proves just how many members would to meet you.

    …and the winner is…

    ANONYMOUSE!
    Runner-Up: One-Way

It’s a well known fact just how loving Anonymouse is!
It seems everybody is trying to score a dinner date with him.

    ---

    COMMERICAL BREAK!

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

    ---

    MOST UNDERRATED POSTER

Some of our members get lost in the crowd, which is why we are here to award the Most Underrated Poster.
This is the official recognition for those who don’t seem to get enough love around here.

    …and the winners are…

    JGK3 AND FEDERATE!

In the most diverse category with a total of eleven different candidates,
it’s an honor to give out two awards for this category instead of just one.
Both posters can finally feel appreciated.

    ---

    MOST FUNNIEST POSTER

Many strive to be as funny as possible with constant jokes,
while others are quite intelligent with their rather creative quips.
The Most Funniest Poster award acknowledges their humor and creativeness.

    …and the winner is…

    ANONYMOUSE!
    Runner-Up: TomServo

When you think of Anonymouse, you may think of dark comedy.
His bright mind produces some of the most hilarious comments seen in our forum.
    Definitely quote worthy.

    ---

    MOST INTELLIGENT POSTER

Speaking of intelligence, it is time to give the award for Most Intelligent Poster.
Although we have many bright individuals on this forum, there are a few members which seem to stand out.

    …and the winner is…

    ARMENIAN!
    Runner-Up: Siggie

Armenian was able to secure the majority of the votes in a near landslide victory.
This is the second win for Armenian tonight.

    ---

    LEAST INTELLIGENT POSTER

On the contrary, we would also like to award the Least Intelligent Poster award.

    …and the winner is…

    PEPSIADDICT!
    Runner-Up: Vigilante

It’s either love or hate with this fellow poster but the consensus seems to go with hate.
PepsiAddict secured this win over the now-banned poster, Vigilante.

    ---

    BEST AVATAR

Given the size requirements for avatars, it truly is a difficult task to find a great avatar.
This award is for Best Avatar!

    …and the winner is…

    SIGGIE!

Siggie took this award with full confidence as she probably knew it was coming.
This well-deserved award was another near landslide victory!

    ---

    WORST AVATAR

We’ve seen some really great avatars here at HyeClub Forum.
Unfortunately, we have seen some horrendous ones as well.
It’s time for the Worst Avatar award.

    …and the winner is…

    SOYELTURCO!

Call it racism but this one is also well-deserved.

    ---

    COMMERCIAL BREAK!

    ---

    BEST THREAD CREATOR

There's nothing worse when you create a thread with full confidence,
knowing it's a sure hit... and see it fail right before your eyes!
This thread recognizes the Best Thread Creator.

    …and the winner is…

    ARMENIAN!
    Runner-Up: One-Way

I would personally like to thank jgk3 who swayed this tie into Armenian’s favor.
I was positive this was a sure win for me but sadly it was not.
This is Armenian's third win tonight.

    ---

    BEST USERNAME

Creativity. Some are born with it; others steal their ideas from Google.
However, creativity is a must at HyeClub Forum which is why we believe in awarding the poster with the Best Username.

    …and the winner is…

    TOMSERVO!
    Runners-Up: Anonymouse and jahannam

Although Anonymouse was in the lead by many votes,
TomServo’s friendly followers seemed to submit their votes just in the nick of time!

    ---

    WORST USERNAME

There have been several members who registered as fast as possible, for whatever reason.
They rushed to create their username until they began regretting it day-by-day.
This award recognizes the Worst Username.

    …and the winner is…

    SOYELTURCO!
    Runner-Up: Mizzike

    I agree.

    ---

    HYECLUB HONORARY AWARD
    Presented to Siamanto

I would like to take a minute and speak about a particular individual from this forum.
His contributions to our community have shaped each forum in a positive way.
It has been a great pleasure reading his posts which is why I am
granting the HyeClub Honorary Award to my fellow friend, Siamanto.

    ---

    BEST NEW POSTER

It’s time now to appreciate our new members.
Although a very difficult category because of our recent flood of members,
this award recognizes the Best New Poster.

    …and the winner is…

    MIZZIKE!
    Runner-Up: gmd

Mizzike, the underdog, stepped in and clinched this win over gmd!

    ---

    FUTURE OF HYECLUB FORUM

Although HyeClub Forum is still fairly young, the future is dependant on the younger generation.
Who will be the poster who has the potential to one day be take over this forum?
We present the award for the Future of HyeClub Forum.

    …and the winners are…

    SERO AND JGK3!

Although jgk3 are already made his way to moderator,
many think Sero has potential to also take leadership sometime in the future.
Take care of this place, gentlemen.

    ---

    MOST POPULAR POSTER

One of the most prestigious awards we will be handing out tonight is the Most Popular Poster award.
If you were a geek in high school, or still are, you probably signed
up here to finally seek your popularity status.
    Will it be you?

    …and the winner is…

    ANONYMOUSE!

In a landslide victory, Anonymouse was tied with One-Way for quite some time.
However, that all changed drastically and he is officially the most popular.

    ---

    BEST POSTER

Finally… it is time to grant the golden trophy of the night.
The Best Poster award has been sought out by nearly every member.
It is a sure recognition of your posts and gives you bragging rights for one year.

Ladies and gentlemen… the award for Best Poster goes to…

    ARMENIAN!
    Runners-Up: Anonymouse and One-Way

Anonymouse and One-Way were head-to-head in the early stages
of the nomination process, desperately fighting for the chance to win.
That all changed when Armenian blew through the competition
and claimed his fourth award for the night.

    ----

I would like to thank everybody once again for joining us tonight.
Those who have been granted an award may propose a speech in this thread.
We hope you had a joyous night and we will see you all next year!

    ----

    Trivia:
-Armenian took home a total of 4 awards including, Best Poster, Most Intelligent Poster, Best Thread Creator and Most Patriotic Poster.
-Anonymouse took home three awards, whereas jgk3, TomServo and SoyElTurco each took home two.
-One-Way was the only poster to come second place a total of three times without winning a single award.

    Pictures from the ceremony:

Anonymouse brags about winning three awards.

Siamanto shows off his Honorary Award.

SoyElTurco (Worst Avatar) and Siggie (Best Avatar) pose together.

TomServo's awards were handed to him somewhere in Asia.

Sero and jgk3 are the Future of HyeClub Forum.

    Federate says, "Yes, we can!"

You would think Armenian would get a little more recognition.

I throw my shoe to the organizers who manipulated the votes and prevented me to win even a single prize!
Has anyone ever counted how many of the prizes received by the site administration??
