Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Since Armenian doesn't care enough to be here, I think I'll just take all his awards. Not on his behalf, I'll just take them instead of him.

        The Coronation

The heralds have finally announced the good tidings throughout the vast land of Cyberia. After years of stagnation and immense suffering under warring factions, after years of bloody revolutions and internal turmoil, the council of elders were finally been able to elect Armenian as reigning monarch. The news of his historic development spread throughout the land with astounding speed. And now, as far as the human eye can see a multitude of humanity has begun to gather upon the rolling slopes of the snow clad mountain upon which Armenian's castle sits resembling a massive stone beast looking down onto the plains below.

Yet, even on this frigid wind swept winter day, all, young and old, male and female, from near and from afar, they have arrived here to hear Armenian speak, and if providence provides them with the unimaginable gift, perhaps even be able to touch him. Ah... but who amongst man can even dare think of such luck? Nonetheless, the white earth trembles below their countless feet. Despite the staggering numbers pressing down upon the frozen ground, sentiments of those gathered are warm and their spirits pure as fresh mountain snow. Despite all this the winter landscape before us is eerily calm. The scene at hand is almost surreal, as if taking place within another dimension of reality. The urge, the hope, is to be firsthand witnesses of this historic day. The people of the land want this day to live within them for an eternity. This day, a day in which the heavens seem to be looking down upon humanity in favor. A glorious day in which all sins of man are washed away, even if for a single day.

Therefore, they wait, they wait silently, they wait patiently. They wait... Their warm breath gently swirling, slowly rising in the winter air, as if a magical fog descending thick upon new monarch's mountain lair... Then, suddenly, a commotion. The gathered humanity begins to stir restlessly. They look up, straining their eyes to see better. Some begin to point anxiously, their hands trembling. For a moment all that could be heard is the whistling wind winding itself in a hurry through the vast and rugged land... "There! Up there!" They begin you yell. On the high rampart of the mighty castle perched over their heads, an impressive figure has appeared as if from no where. "What is that?" They begin to ask amongst themselves. With a sweet little voice - "is it a ghost?" asks a child to his mother. While some begin to wonder if the figure above is a mythological creature of old. "No! No! You're all wrong!" Shouts an weary old man with a long white beard, wiping away with his forearm the nervous sweat gently descending down from under his knitted cap. "It must be him! Yes! Yes! It's him!" Shouts he in glee.

Yes, it's him. Armenian, our new monarch, is amongst us.

He has arrived, indeed. Looking solemn yet self-assured, Armenian appears in full regalia. He stands there on the high walls of his castle looking like a mythical guardian of mankind as the sea of humanity below him approaches closer for a better look. Behold. He holds in his right hand a ceremonial long spear, symbolizing his far reaching reign and battlefield prowess. Only the gods know how many of his enemies have fallen in battle against him. He wears a richly embroidered silken cloak around his gentle yet stalwart figure. In striking contrast to his wintery complexion, his black beard falling down lazily upon his engraved golden chest plate. From under his thick fur hat, a sliver of long dark hair is seen caught in the blowing breeze. His facial expression is as cold as the winter air around him, but his piercing eyes, the portals of his soul, are radiating vigor, warming souls far and wide. He gently looks down at the gathering below as if gathering his thoughts. Then, with a sweet, gentle and fatherly voice he says -

        "Thanks guys!"

Thundering shouts and applause bursts out in front of him shattering the eerie calm and scattering the beasts of the surrounding land...

                LEAST INTELLIGENT POSTER

On the contrary, we would also like to award the Least Intelligent Poster award.

                …and the winner is…

                PEPSIADDICT!
                Runner-Up: Vigilante

It’s either love or hate with this fellow poster but the consensus seems to go with hate.
PepsiAddict secured this win over the now-banned poster, Vigilante.
