Why Do Old Threads Go?

I notice the general topic section only goes for 4 pages and after that our old threads are cut off and not even archived.

That is a shame, since many quality threads have disappeared, including mine on Billy Bays, Tampon Day, the Great Toe, Downtown, etc.

Admin what is to be done about this? I have some gin and tonic and I'm sitting here, sipping, and contemplating.

It shows threads that were posted in the last 30 days. Old threads are not deleted, if you want to see all threads, you need select 'threads from the beginning' at the bottom...
