Technical Question

Hey guys, my toolbar seems to have disappeared. It's rather difficult to switch between windows. Any ideas as to what the hell is going on?

I'd ask the housefolk, but they're all asleep.

And no, the toolbar isn't hiding at the bottom, or anywhere else...my whole desktop is empty, yet when I go to Task Manager, everything is intact.

What were you doing when it went away? Are you using Windows XP?

Yea, I'm using Windows XP.

It happened once before while I was using it, yet I did nothing out of the ordinary. When I restarted the computer that time, the problem went away.

And now, the toolbar was gone when I turned on the computer. I restarted it, yet that didn't solve anything.

as for your toolbar.... have you tried pressing F11?? (i'm no computer whiz so that's probably wrong because I think I am thinking of a different toolbar than the one you're talking about...) anyway if all else fails, pull the plug. I do that a lot. errrhmm. yeah.
