Amazing! There is a silicon chip system where wires one tenth the thickness of a human hair, would be inserted in the visual cortex of the brain. It’s amazing that we don’t realize that our ability to see results purely from the interpretation in the brain, neurons I assume. Our eyes are only tools to transmit signals. Hopefully in the future scientists can develop a system for the correction of the damaged sector in the brain, rather than inventing machines. And $2,500 sounds like a good bargain to have the ability to have at least some visualization. But then again, there is so much trash in this world, that perhaps the handicap is a blessing for the blind.
