Frankly, I'm craving the types of films that make you think, that don't spell it out for you, or just simply confuse the xxxx out of you. Any suggestions?
REQUIEM FOR A DREAM had me depressed the whole night. I couldn't sleep because of this damn movie. I don't think it will disturb people as much if they haven't used harmful drugs.

Flames, if you haven't seen any of the following then you will probably enjoy them:
THE USUAL SUSPECTS
MEMENTO
There's many more but those 2 came off the top of my head. I'll give you some more titles if you've already seen these.

I've seen Memento and loved it (hence the quote in my signature which is from the short story that inspired the film). Speaking of which, I just got the theme song from the movie, and it's tearing up my insides (figuratively speaking, of course ). I believe instrumental (non-lyrical) music is the best at pulling at your emotions, since language is a man-made thing.
"Eyes Wide Shut" disturbed me.
it's the only movie I haven't been able to walk away from although I REALLY wanted to.
I guess it's kubrick.
I bet you it was his goal: disturbing viewers.
I don't like him.

Actually I consider that an improvement, next to the ones I listed.
