Yes, you did the right thing. As the host, you are responsible for making sure everyone has a ride home.

Next time you have a get together, make sure everyone knows how they are getting home before they start drinking. Letting someone know they are not going to be driving home when they are still sober will more than likely stick to their mind for when they get drunk.

Ya but when a person gets drunk, he/she won't remember what they said or promised when they were sober.
