    Re: Brangelina Eye Armenia

A call girl acquaintance of mine at a Las Vegas bordello used to work as Brad and Angelina's maid at their house in Malibu. What is shocking is that she left their "paradise pad" of her own accord. She told me horror stories about their treatment of children, Angelina dressing them up in garish clothing and buying them mindless coloring books and toys while Brad subjected them to junk television programs such as Barney and SpongeBob Squarepants. My maid friend suggested to Pitt to have the children watch "a program of value," such as American Masters, Frontline, Masterpiece Theater, As Time Goes By, or Frasier. She said that all Pitt could do was blink and scratch his head. She later found that Angelina was having her rainbow children listen to the syrupy sounds of Armenian-Canadian children's crooner, Raffi. Disturbed, the maid suggested that Angelina play them "something of quality," suggesting Ira Glass's This American Life, NPR's All Things Considered, Vladimir Horowitz, or Igor Stravinsky. Angelina was confused and asked whether Igor Stravinsky was a character on Winnie the Pooh. Angered by this dumbing down of culture, my maid friend quit on the spot.

She now earns twice as much as she did than when she worked for Brangelina.

Not that I don't believe you or anything but can this "acquaintance" of yours be trusted? I've seen my share, that's why I'm asking ...

          Re: Brangelina Eye Armenia

That would be good adopting an Armenian baby, as Armenia is an extremely poor country with some of the worlds highest poverty rates, very poor health indicators etc it would certainly give the the baby a life it needs to escape from the pure desperation and poverty in Armenia. Im sure the poorest of the poorest families in Armenia would very much appreciate their child being able to experience a better life, a life where the baby will be able to grow up in a stable and vigorous life. Im sure when the baby grows up he will very much appreciate the life the Angelina and Brad would have given the baby. There are many many orphanages in Armenia and Angelina would show her philantrophist traits and give money to rebuild or create a safer and better living home for those kids. This sounds like a good proposition for Angelina and Brad to inculpated in.

In Canada we have many adopted Armenian children there is an Armenian club where adopted European/American and Canadian mothers share their experiences in Armenia, their frustrations etc.

My mom went (she has no other children except me) because she got invited by an Armenian family very poor one infact and my mom cried with the family. It was quite an experience, I was was quite emotional as well.

Apparently, the rumor that Brangelina is adopting an Armenian baby has become so newsworthy that the Armenian Weekly is reporting on it. The blogosphere is ahead of the Armenian-American media. Who knew?

Angelina Jolie to Adopt an Armenian Baby?
            By Weekly Staff • on May 28, 2009 •

YEREVAN (A.W.)—Angelina Jolie will adopt a baby from Armenia, although her husband, Brad Pitt, prefers adopting an Indian baby, according to reports by several news sources.

Few details have surfaced about the adoption, especially since Armenian officials seem to be keeping a tight lip on the matter. RIA Novosti reported on May 26 that Lena Airapetyan, who runs the department for children in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, said Jolie and Pitt should go through the standard procedure of adoptions.

“They must provide full information on biographies, annual profit, a guarantee that they can take care of a child, and proof of a lack of previous convictions. If everything passes smoothly, a child could be adopted within a month,” Airapetyan said. “They give me great hope as I have heard that they take good care of adopted children,” she added.

Other news sources, citing friends of the couple, reported that Brad and Angelina have already visited Armenia.

Talking about the reasons behind Angelina’s choice, Examiner.com writes, “One of the reasons Angelina wants to adopt from Armenia is because there is a lot less ‘red’ tape and the adoption process can be a lot easier. She also believes an Armenian child will fit in perfectly with her African, Cambodian, and Vietnamese babies.”

Now that's funny, Hyeclub has went from Andy Turpin's punching bag to Armenian Weekly's story generator. http://www.hairenik.com/armenianweekly/com11220802.htm

"It may seem outlandish that educated young Armenians could propagate such Orwellian “we must combat the Eastern Horde” madness, but one would only have to visit www.Forum.HyeClub.com and peruse several entries to realize that among some segments of Armenian society, some very distorted worldviews exist."

              Re: Brangelina Eye Armenia

Well, since Angelina is a quarter Armenian and Brad's grand-grand-parents briefly lived in the Armenian neighborhood of Tiflis, I see no problems with this.

But on the serious note, the issue of orphaned children in Armenia is very sad and needs Armenians the world over to act. Want to make sure the likes of Brangelina don't raise little cute Armenian children, give a serious thought to adopting a child yourself. I can't imagine there are many children orphans in Armenia. By adopting, we could give loving families to all Armenian orphans.

My plan is to hopefully have a child of my own, but definitely adopt a child from Armenia.
