Have you looked for research and not found any? The discovery of "sprites" is fairly recent. Take a look at that.

No, the point is that both science and religion have a political force behind the assertions they make. Once people are free of the manipulation and lies, they can begin to think on their own without blindly believing everything they hear by "experts" in the media.

We can't look for a 'political force' behind every single scientific development, can we? The 'political force' behind science and religion can be true only to a degree and in some cases...

Sometimes I wonder how would have my life been different had I grew up in Turkey. Would I still be alive? Would I have decided to leave on my own had I become of age? Would I have experienced the same racism that I experienced among Canadians growing up? There are so many different ways my life could have turned out.

The best way would be to have a foot in Armenia.

I don't need to make any changes on a 'personal' level. My problem is with my 'peers' who have sold themselves out to western culture. Many have become self centered and have put material/money/status over human/friendship. Much like the lifestyle that the rest of the "civilized" world is adopting.

Okay, I thought you were complaining about your personal life, as for people around you that's the case everywhere in the world except that its manifestation is in a different way depending on cultures and how developped a country is.

That's because I don't talk when I type. And you can't relate one thing to another unless its the exact same subject.

If you're walking through a series of rooms, and in each room is a piece of knowledge and once you acquire that knowledge, a new key is given to you to open the door to the next room. The gauntlet is endless. The chicken and the egg in the same way is an endless argument. This doesn't mean that it's pointless, this means that we are naturally inclined to learn and grow and the only thing that impedes progress is those that don't want others to attain the knowledge that certain people already have. Knowledge is power and not everything is going to be revealed to the general population. The reason why you say that I'm not saying anything is because you find philosophy, politics, religion among many other studies pointless.
