Hey everyone...I don't know if this topic is going to be very interesting to u, but it's about helping out the young armenians who are starving for some direction in their lives...If it doens't appeal to u, please get the flock out!
Okay..well first of all, I see a rise in drug use. I don't know if u guys understand this, but marijuana is a drug! It's being considered more and more harmless every minute. I know that most of us are responsible adults who, on occasion, need a little "vacation" from reality and our problems. But, kids as young as 11 or 12 are experimenting with it, not knowing what it can do. Where do they get this information? Well, it's simple...from their older siblings and relatives. What has to take over our brain and make us think that this is okay? What can we do about it? Why can't we just use our old way of discipline?
Next, I'm going to address this to the young girls in our little society. This is for those little girls who wear the skimpy "costumes" and put on their masks in the morning, then attend junior high and high school, looking like they just stepped out of a porn studio. I have a neice who is 14, and the other day, she came up to me with a nose ring. I knew it was real because I grabbed it and pulled on it real hard. Of course she screamed, but I wasn't really hearing much.. All I could think of was "God please don't let me kill her". I yanked out the ring, as she sat there and cried. Of course I went to my sister, her mother, about this. She had the sorriest excuse to tell me. "How can I stop her from doing anything"? But then I thought about it...She can go and get another piercing if she really wanted to.. How can we stop her if the law says that we can't use our hands to discipline her? From the first day she came home from pre-school, she told her mommy about the "911" button..Of course, they don't teach these kids to use it in a real emergency..They say, "you can call 911 whenever mommy and daddy are mean to u".....What the hell? Aren't mommy and daddy supposed to be mean sometimes?
What are ur thoughts on corporal punishment?
