Michael Corleone was a brilliant, strong-minded, highly principled person who could have been anything he wanted to be. He could have impacted the world in a noticeable, positive way. Instead, he perpetuated criminal behavior, ended lives violently, and ultimately, lost anything he ever could have had of any real value. That is not a real man; that is a complete and utter failure.

What? David Beckham? Ben Affleck? Leo DiCaprio? These aren't men; these are mannequins and canvases for PR firms and overpaid stylists. The same thing is wrong with them that is wrong with a woman who spends three hours every morning straightening her hair and putting makeup on her cleavage. There are more important things. You can live your life in a magazine, or you can live it in a timeless novel. Which would you prefer?
