That's so sad. Many people don't research the tattoos before they get them. I think Americans, in general, have always been fascinated with the unknown. I think the artist should have taken their interest in his language as a compliment....not a degradation of his culture. I would love it if some random white guy has Armenian tattoo saying "Yes Hye Chem"

I've lived in Syria for 16 years and I've only seen camels on TV.
(hopefully that'll change, of course, when I visit Egypt soon)
