I can feel the air if i move my open hand fast enough and i see the effect it has in the form of wind on everything (ie hurricane etc..) I feel air everytime i breathe it is something i can touch , feel , see.. clouds are water vapor. I belive air exists because i have proof that it does and i can show this proof to others but what can you show as proof?

If you start treating the scriptures as a human enterprise rather (even if you still believe its divinely inspired), then its historical validity can be questioned, as it can now be to be dissected and scrutinized by historiographers who will compare it to other historical records. Once you do that, you have to abandon the bible's literalness as a coherent way to connect to God and find some other explanation for why you should believe in him.

How about we call out religion for the bs that it really is. How many versions of a fairy tail are there now and why should we even care? People have better things to do.
