    Yes, there are similarities in externals, but also many differences I have to say. I think one of the most healthy things in comparison with Catholicism is the allowance/encouragement of priests to marry and have children.

    Yes, there are similarities in externals, but also many differences I have to say. I think one of the most healthy things in comparison with Catholicism is the allowance/encouragement of priests to marry and have children.

    Christian, Protestant.

    It is similar in the externals, but the theology is waaayyyy better. Eastern theology seems natural and healthy. Like I said, all the best of Catholicism, but with better theology and with common sense.

    How many answers do you want of things that attracted me to the Armenian church? I think in the end, it goes back to the flaws of Catholicism and my exposure to Catholicism and former attraction to it as a young child. Armenian Apostolic is one of the few churches I could happily live with, one of the few that combines all the best of Catholicism, with better theology, and a lot of common sense. I'll find you a dozen more attractions if you want (admittedly some better than others).
    In what religions your parents raised you? Do you really think Armenian Church is similar to Catholic church? Maybe in externals, but not really in theology I would say.
