      Well not everyone on this site celebrates it on the 6th
      & not everyone lives in Armenia

      Mos & a nice response would've been Merry Christmas but oh well

        The good part about us Armenians who live in the West is that we get to celebrate Christmas twice every year.......Merry Xmas and happy holidays.

            Yes true, but anybody of the Armenian Apostolic faith celebrates on the 6th, doesn't matter where you live.

              The people I work with are from Armenia & celebrate the 24th also

                Christmas is so commercialized (and to a large extent secularized) that people from other religions celebrate it too. I don't see a problem with Armenians using the day off to gather with their loved ones. My family does both. They have a more somber dinner for the 6th and the 25th is more about presents, fun, and feasting.
