Power of the human mind-
I don’t know if I’ve posted this before but what the hell, everything else is being posted again…and again..and AGAIN.
How powerful is the human mind? Can it reach to the extent of changing one’s manifestation, and physical characteristics? Can a person’s mind and belief hold so much power, as to the extent of transforming one, not only mentally but physically?
I was reading about MPD./DID
Basically the disoreder is a belief that one has other people inside him/her. It's a form of protecting 'self' by dissociating from him/hersefl, and reality of the time being.
So the person begins to associate with two or more distinct personality states within him/herself, and the personalities begin to take over the person’s behavior and state of mind. In extreme cases, people have alternate personalities which may come and go at given times. The extent of the transformation can be so vast, as to completely transforming a person’s mental condition replacing stored memories with other ones which come about as the alternate personality takes over.
I had read somewhere that when a ‘Multiple’ transforms to another personality /being, the change can be so drastic- there’s been cases where the person’s eye-color has changed, scars have appeared and disappeared, etc..
So what do you guys think.
If such strong belief can alter one’s physical state, than people are capable of so much, with the power and discipline of the mind.
Does this mean we may have “supernatural” abilities/powers?
