Cool

I drove down to biosphere II in Oracle, AZ, stayed there for a day and half, and drove back, all without any sleep. I don't know how cool that is, but I impressed myself. Oh, and I got to Phoenix in under 6 hours. Once I got onto the I-10, I averaged about 115 the entire way.

The coolest thing I ever did was beat Marxist down my street protesting, after which I shoved lemons up his bodily orifices and drew a hammer and sickle on his asscheeks.

ive been to many a protest and strike and on the picket line, for me thats cool

i guess non-political, would be playing in hamaygagan, that was good stuff

nothing extravagant tho...like to travel to cool places, like cuba, italy, spain

So the nine people who have read this thread and not replied... I'm going to assume you are dull, boring, uninteresting people who have not done a single exciting and cool thing in your entire lives. How sad for you!

What is/was the coolest thing you ever did?

"Cool" could be the thing that you did that would be most calculated to impress your friends and family and complete strangers.

"Cool" could be the thing that you did that was most calculated to piss your mother off and demonstrate what a rebel you were. Oh, oh I have one! Like the day I got tossed out of Disneyland for being with a bunch of people who were smoking pot inside the park. I was 13, I guess that happened to be the cool thing at the time? I was bad by proxy (because I was hanging out with a bunch of older high school baddies? silly me.) even if I didn't have the slightest urge to take part in the smoking part. To this day I have no idea why we weren't arrested, but we weren't. My friends and I were just unceremoniously escorted from the premises by a park cop who wore shiny black shoes and white gloves, who looked a LOT like Mickey Mouse, and who was Definitely Not Amused! when, in fits of hysterical giggles, we pointed that out to him. (Okay. I pointed it out to him. hehe)

"Cool" could be the accomplishment you're proudest of.

"Cool" could be doing something that other people would be too afraid to attempt. Like skydiving, or in my case, cliff-diving into the ocean surrounding Catalina Island, in March. The water was freezing, and it was so so so awesome. Especially throwing our snorkeling gear in from beforehand and then snorkeling among the kelp forests. I swear I would live underwater if it was at all possible. It's lovely! And quite creepy when something brushes against your toes and it's all dark between the kelp and you can hardly remember which way is up. I think even the seals that were watching were quite impressed.

"Cool" could be something that brought you complete and unconditional and unexpected happiness.

"Cool" could be something that happened that you had a big part of making happen and the results were astonishingly great and quite unexpectedly 'cool'.... (Like making a baby? hehe.)

I could go on, but I think you get my drift. So don't kill this thread by saying something like 'oh I'm cool because I brushed my teeth this morning with minty toothpaste and now my mouth is all cool'. Pleeease? Go on, brag, tell me tell me, I love to hear these things.
