hehehe...yeah thats what i ment..alivye and stolichnih salat..same thing..i just didnt want to say it in russian for fear of being bad mouthed by some people for being able to speak russian and not armenian...

Inna, although language is a very important part of one's culture, I understand your situation. I know learning a language is not the easiest of tasks, but perhaps you could take a class or two, even just for the basics.

i dont want to take this thread off topic...but i felt like replying

a class requires a teacher..a teacher requires someone who is able to speak the language...i dont know if you know this but i live in a state where when people ask me where i'm from, i answer, "Armenia", then they say,"oh, Romania, i've heard of that, where exactly is that?" so finding a person who speaks the Armenian language and is willing to teach it is very rare...actually it's impossible

all we need is one big story about Armenia and that will get people to know where we are for about 20 years. after that we will need another one.
