Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!


2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

    I'm Glad!!

    1st of all!! My regards to Miss Anileve 2nd whats up PASAMONSTER!! 3rd i have somethign to say!If you take intelligent things seriously, then intelligence becomes irrelevant. It doesn't matter how intelligent you all are (however you measure it), it matters what you do with the abilities you have. Now, it may not pay to take it seriously but it's been my experience that many share this view. Why? I guess it makes them feel better, but it's a hollow feeling.so all i say is we all are mad in here but it doesnt mean that we have to create and offensive actions!! WE TALK! No actions!!!
    We can stop threading here and let us go to my new post its more wisely!!

      Why do you think that I should respect you of all people?? If your going to talk about peoples avatars why dont you look at your own and tell me what it says about you...personally cats (which I hate cats) are sneaky and lazy; so maybe that says something about you. I am not turning my head in disrespect sir, I am merely allowing you to enjoy the scenery in front of me as I had 2 years ago in Florida. And my statement 'Art is Sexy and so Am I' is just a quote we (my art class) used to say in high school

      oh and by the way....can you tone it down with those images..their kinda scary/weird

        I am so glad !!!You say that cats are Lazy and what the Wise will ask you is,does that cat looks lazy for you? see the picture,study it and you will discover about it. That cat is always ready to attack but this time He will never attack cause what you wrote was really sick and nonsense.YOU just stoped the sense in your messages. why?? try much better.

          Now that I have taken a better look at the cat, it doesn't look so much as lazy as it does sneaky.

              Introduction of Brain and Mind

              ah!!! Ladies and Gentleman! there is no such thing ( brain teaser) by thinking like that is like we are teasing on our selves so i would liek to introduce my introduction of Brain.


              THe Word of Wisdom!

              Introduction

              The world is our creation, it is a thing created by mind, it is a mental construct. This is what Mind-Brain.com seeks to communicate to others, so that they may open their eyes to this fact, so that they may go on to create something more than what is, and to instill the world with new and greater meaning. Many people do not appreciate the essentially 'constructive nature' of reality. It is all a mental construct. We are deceived by the fact that we are humans with human consciousness.... we rarely venture outside the realms of our human consciousness, and thus we see the world with human eyes. Naturally, humans are blind to this, for the most part. But this is only because that is the way that humans are predisposed and 'programmed' to construct the world, in human terms, in all-too-human terms. There is nothing 'objective' about objective science, other than the fact that the truths obtained by objective science are invariant across human consciousness, but they do not hold for other types and modes of consciousness.

              Do you know who or what you are? Think about it. There are many illusions in life. The arguably tragic thing is that so many people of the past have lived their entire lives in illusion. They believed in their mental constructs, and took them to be the truth of things, up into their graves. They were confined within their human consciousness, and never looked beyond. They never saw the true potential of consciousness, nor realized the constructive nature of reality. They never realized that their 'truths' were simply mental constructs, including their own sense of self-identity.

              If anything, Mind-Brain.com seeks to awaken people to the fact that the full potential of consciousness has not yet been realized, and that in order to begin realizing it, we must transcend our human consciousness. This may be brought about in many different ways, and spiritual insight is certainly important for awakening one to the latent potential of consciousness, but the most important way to realize this potential will be through adequate understanding of brain mechanisms and the manipulation and enhancement of the human brain and its functioning, in order to make it more than human.

              The brain is the most complicated thing in the known universe. Naturally, a full deciphering of the wondrous workings of the brain is far too much for any one person alone; it will require a concerted collective effort. Unfortunately, the field of neuroscience, as a whole, has no real strong vision or leadership that unites everyone towards a worthy common objective. And that is where Mind-Brain.com steps in, to provide this vision and leadership, so that we may all play a role in accomplishing what has henceforth been deemed unattainable, and so that we may all realize the full potential that neuroscience promises our species, not in some remote future, but today.

              For all of the ingenuity and resourcefulness of our species, it is remarkable that we have not yet fully deciphered that which defines us and determines our consciousness, our brains. It is also rather amazing, if not a bit disheartening, that so much of our species lives in such ignorance. For if people were more fully aware of the vast potential that neuroscience offers us, then how could they do anything else but unite towards realizing this vast potential? Even those lacking the requisite time or mental resources could still contribute financially or in other ways towards the collective effort. The problem seems to be one of ignorance, laziness, the shirking of responsibility, and the misplacement of priorities.

              There is only one path open to us that is worthy. Mind-Brain.com seeks to guide people to this path by awakening them to the full potential that neuroscience offers us all, and also to provide the tools, information, and opportunities requisite for bringing about the next big revolution in neuroscience.
