thanks to all those who noted what kind of flowers they have in their yards! now i know where to pick them from next time, instead of wasting money at the flower shops

Ck, I have planted about 30 of those around my house, you should see them when they bloom. I have the pink, purple, red and yellow varities. They are called: iceplant lampranthus spectabilis. It's basically a groundcover plant, it spreads pretty quickly. Beautiful in the spring time. Home Depot, Lowes, etc, sells them.
