    i concur, often women in society, but particluarly in armenia, are cast aside as a lesser sex even though they often do most of the work. Let us use this opportunity to remember how much they work, and not forget it.

Thats the difference. and by the way, this day is only celebrated by armenians due to communists celebrating it in USSR. in the west it is only mothers day which is celebrated, bullxxxx mayreri don

            Oh my Lord, I had completely forgotten about this beloved holiday, and only realized the significance of today when I spotted the thread.

            The attached image is a picture that my grandfather drew and sent to us from Armenia a few years back. I think I'm going to cry now.
