No one's trying to hate Christianity- people have a right to choose whatever they want to believe, or not believe. Simply because Armenia was the first Christian nation, does not mean that all Armenians are bound by some unwritten law to hold/follow Christian beliefs.

Of course just because Armenia was the first Christian country it doesn't mean every Armenian has to follow Christian beliefs. People should believe in whatever they want. That's not what i'm saying. What i'm saying is based on conversations with some people, some seem to have no respect for Christianity at all, and seem to even have a vendetta against it.

All i'm saying is because of it's role in our culture/history, even if you don't believe it or don't follow it, you can do whatever you want... just don't go out of your way to not respect it. Generally speaking, of course.

I choose to believe eating human brain will be looked on favorably by Galthenon the spirit of intelligence. I think I'll start with you.

I wouldn't speak of 'eating'. Strange coming from an eggplant. Now let's pay attention to Christ's message. No eating brains, except for me.

I'm glad you showed up. I need a virgin to sacrifice. We are free to believe as we want are we not? Now would you like to be pushed off a cliff or tied to something heavy and eaten by King Kong?

The Passion of Christ is a movie. You are an eggplant. I'm confused as to what you're doing in this thread.

                  I'm sorry I don't follow.

On the flipside, what do you think of Mel Gibson?

I think he really believes he is doing something important. This movie is like his other movies big on action, heroics, amazing imagery, and low on substance. If you look at the box office this is a recipe for success in films. He thinks he can educate people while entertaining them. Unfortunately for him there’s no way to make history entertaining without lying. So from this film we learn nothing.

If you are a well rounded person you learn nothing new. If you don't know jack you walk out knowing that Jesus got the bejeesus beat out of him by some Jews and was crusified by the Romans. None of which teaches us anything about Jesus the man.

I don't know about the rest of you folks, but I think I concur with the eggplant on this one.
