In response to the thread question:

I would not wash my car; that is ridiculous. It took me a long time to get all of that crud on it.

However I do think I act differently from who I normally am on a first date but it is not because I am trying to sell myself. It is usually because I am very nervous. A shot of Ouzo helps.

I haven't washed my car in three months, and I doubt I will wash it anytime soon. Maybe if the date paid me I would, otherwise I have no incentive to wash it, as the good satanist pointed out.
