Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!


2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

    Story of a Lost Cookie...

    Once there was a little cookie named Poubelle whose parents made him feel like he did not matter. Poor Poubelle was very said. Poubelle went to Cookie School and all of the other little cut-outs did not let him play with them. That made Poubelle sad too. When Poubelle went to his cookie house the only thing he did was study like a good little cut-out because he had no friends and his parents made him feel like he did not matter. When Poubelle went to his cookie classes he was the best student because he was quiet and he knew all of his recipes very well. One day, his teacher, Mrs. Peanut, decided to make Poubelle her assistant. Mrs. Peanut gave Poubelle a little hat and a little chocolate chip to wear on his shoulder to show he was special. After that, the other little cookies would hit the chocolate chip off of his shoulder and he would get upset. Poubelle would start yelling at his fellow classmates and would tell them to stop breaking Mrs. Peanut's Cookie Class Rules. During recess one day, Poubelle started to make up rules to get his classmates in trouble even though they were not doing anything and he even got cut-outs in trouble who never harmed Poubelle or any other cookie. He said they were not alowed to have certain toys to play with during recess but there was nothing in Mrs. Peanut's Cookie Class Rules that said such a thing but he took there toys anyway and hid them away so they could not get them. This made Poubelle happy because all those bad cookies were now paying for what they did. One of the cut-outs who was a good cookie cried to Mrs. Peanut one day and said that Poubelle was being mean. Mrs. Peanut told Poubelle to stay after cookie class for some biscuit talk. After all of the other cut-outs were gone, Mrs. Peanut asked what was happening and why the other cookies were crying. Poubelle told her that he was making them feel bad because they deserved it. Mrs. Peanut thought to herself then said, "Poubelle, I made you my assistant because I thought you were a better cut-out than the rest. If you make up rules to keep cookies from having fun you are being a bad cut-out like the others. You can't punish cookies if they did not do anything wrong and if they were not hurting the other cookies. Every cookie deserves to have toys to play with. And remember, just because we are all cut-outs, it doesn't mean me bake and rise the same way."

      ahh...what a story...

      It's interesting how the cuts outs come in all different sizes and shapes.

      even more interesting how one of the cut outs expanded so much while baking... it uniquely stands out from the dozen-in size.

        Let us be careful incase cookie conversation is against the law. After all unique cookies are a threat, regardless of their taste.

            By the way, in another thread dusken, you said you agree with eye for an eye. This story contradicts that.

              Not necessarily. But if I was allowed to just type, I would not have written the story.

                  Hey sag your avatar looks cool, but is she naked or what? It seems a bit contradictory, cross and Armenian flag then gyrating half dressed girl??

                    Actually it is uncannily symbolic of Armenian highschools in L.A.
