Speaking of good movies. Two movies I loved were- Gold Rush- the scene where Charlie Chaplin is eating his shoe is just tooo damn good!

The best years of our lives- Very good movie.
Best Years Of Our Lives is a Classic! I saw that in my Film Hist class. Along with that I would add I'm A Fugitive from a Chain Gang or something like that, and Sunset Blvd, and The Blonde Venus with Marlene Deitrich ( yum yum ).

As far as Shawshank, it was a good movie, nothing special but nothing cheap. Just good.

I saw it in my film history class as well. I loved it because it makes you feel with/for the characters.

Did you like the original Scarface? It was quite pathetic wasn't it?

We didn't see that in our class, but we did see a bunch of other cool flicks. I have to retrieve the syllabus to see the names.
