I dont think there is a perfect solution for complete world peace...the only way to change the world is if people change, and that is almost impossible.

Whats interesting is that in my Political Science class we were discussing democracy and how almost every nation that is democratic has peaceful relations, so maybe democracy is a solution?.?.

For there to be World Peace, everyone would have to agree on everything. Obviously that's not gonna happen especially since we are diferent people with different ideas and we also encourage each other to have different views on things. World Peace? Neva gonna happen. :-)

The natural state of man is at war and chaotic. World peace is unrealistic...it'll never happen.

of course it will happen. there will someday be a common state. everyone will look alike, speak the same language share mostly the same beliefs. That is the direction we are headed in. and then there will be world peace. i dont want to live in that world though

There wouldn't be world peace, there would still be violence and war within such a world. Think of it this way. There is violence within nations as it is. If you believe war exists because we have different cultures, and races, and not because we are human, then you are kidding yourself.

the idea of "world peace" reminds of the book I read in 6th grade, The Giver, their world seemed peaceful, but it was boring and plain...who would want to live in a world where everybody is the same?
