Oh yes...brilliant logic Ducati. People act dumb at those demonstrations, so you should attempt to act even dumber. What part of that is well said Dan? I really fail to understand.
If all you want to do is get a rise out of all the Armenians who are going there to protest the genocide, and feel that going around with the turkish flag is really hilarious and that your friends will find you real cool, you are worse than the idiots who at least have some right intentions. You're just an idiot. You're not only going to get a rise out of the people you dislike, you're simply insulting the memory of your own ancestors who fell victim to that flag, and all their children and grand children who are out there protesting the injustice they lived.
April 24 is definitely not about which Armenian sub-culture can piss the other one off more effectively. If that's the most meaningful thing you found to do, it's a shame, really.

Hey Baron, this might sound really offensive to some if not most/all, but I would rather walk around with a Turkish flag than turn on rap music like it's some sort of parade.... It's the lesser of two evils. I never said carrying the Turkish flag is the right thing to do. Just the lesser of two evils.

I'd rather people take April 24 to do what they feel is right to commemorate the memory of their ancestors. If the best idea you came up with is making some joke out of it and provoking fights, then you are just an insult to anything Armenian. And I don't care if the rap lovers are insults too. If your priority on April 24 is those rap-lovers, you would be just as big a problem. At least they, in their confused little way, have dedicated this day to our common cause. What would you have dedicated it to?

Is b!tching in style this year???
If April 24 does not evoke any other feelings in you except "akh, all those black loving armos will show up again", then, I repeat, you also have a huge problem.

It's my priority for the same reason it's your priority to call those who would hypothetically show up with a Turkish flag, idiots. I don't care if black-loving Armenians show up, as long as they don't turn on rap music. Or any other type of music for that matter, unless it's relevant to the theme of April 24... If they want to listen to rap, they can do it at home or while driving around in the cars their mommies bought them. I would rather NOT have their "support" than have them come and turn on their radios like it's some kind of a parade. And I never said I would show up with a Turkish flag. I never would. But if I had to choose, I would go with the Turkish flag.
Besides, what's the HUGE deal about taking a Turkish flag? True, the country has perpetrated the genocide, and the government keeps on denying it, but aren't there many Turkish Armenians out there? Why can YOU take a Canadian flag with you (and many people did even before the government recognized the genocide), whereas it's wrong for people to take the Turkish flag with them? What if some people are proud of being born in Turkey despite the denial of the government (similar to USA, Canada [until the recognition])?
