The Hollywood March was much more tame compared to last year.

I didn't go last year either, I was hospitalized. But the year before last was real bad.

I worked in the morning, then got lost trying to find a choir recital up at Scripps College in the evening.

That's funny since non-violence has never solved anything. On the contrary, I believe Mr. Hitler pointed this out. Sadly, although I hope for non-violence, that ain't the way it's going to be.

It is ok. All the people committing violence are right. I think we will all be just fine.

Another thing. I know two people who are born on April 24th. One happens to be my uncle whose birthday we celebrated later on in the evening on Saturday April 24th. At first I felt strange going to a party on April 24 but as the night wore on I looked around me for a second... you know when you can hear people talking and laughing and Armenian music in the background and you can see smiling faces, etc but everything just kindof fades out for a second and you're left alone with your thoughts the loudest thing in your head? One thought crossed my mind at that moment. That try as they might the turks didn't 'win.' And our gathering together and celebrating life on Saturday night was proof of that. It made for a lovely end to a very mixed-emotion day.

I went to a memorial for the genocide here in sweden,,must have been one of the more succesful 24 april programmes. To bad there weren't that many swedes who came.
