    As far as entropy, yes, systems move towards disorder because no work can be done with 100% efficiency.

          Gravity will help balance everything out. it is entropic.

          the theory is that the universe involves a never ending cycle of big bangs.
          Matter is repelled as the universe expands, and will then collapse on itself through gravity into one spec of space which will then blow up and create the universe once again.

          Much like atoms atoms having the forces of attraction and repulsion acting at the same time.
