Well The Baked Potato, La Ve Lee, and Spazio are all on Ventura or Cahuenga, yes. But they are jazz clubs. If the Jazz Bakery was a place to eat, I would have mentioned it. I am not a big fan of Charlie O's because of the location and atmosphere. And I probably mentioned the fondue place on Ventura as well. It is not my fault that it is one of the very few fondue restaurants in Southern California.Originally posted by spiralBecause most of the places you have mentioned (esp. in the restaurant thread) happen to be on Ventura-Sherman Oaks.

I am in Hollywood for more than I am on Ventura.

Sucks? Based on what? Some of the best jazz musicians in L.A. play there. The atmosphere is great. The bar is loaded. The food is great for the price. There is no cover beyond the $15 minimum purchase. I do not understand.Originally posted by violette829It's a restaurant with a couple of torches in the outside patio. It sucks, but they have delicious apple martinis.

Ok, I know the beach is special and everything because there is SO MUCH to do there and so many places to sit and talk and just hang out (caution: that was meant to be sarcastic) but who in their right mind wants to go there in this heat? yech.

Glendale/Burbank seems to be in the middle of the majority of us in here. Maybe we can find some kind of bar/restaurant/pool place there?

p.s. What/where is the Marketplace in Glendale? I've never heard of it...
