Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

      February 19, 2004- A bad day

      What a bad day.
For 2 days now i have been having intense pain in my lower left molar. The pain shoots al the way up to right below my ear. its horrific. So today My dad picks me up from the house at 2 and we go to the social security office so i could get my ss card so i could finally get a drivers permit. We fill out the application wait on line for almost 1 and a half hours and then they tell us that im probably gonna get it in the mail by march 1 because i just got my greencard so theyll probably do it themselves. All that damn time for nothing and meanwhile my painkiller has worn off and the pain is unbearable.

From there we head to Dr. Garo my dentist. One of the coolest guys i know. He's RuminaHye. Anyway I thought there was an inferction in my tooth or something but he doesnt think so. Takes an X-ray image or whatever those radioactive things are called. Turns out my wisdom tooth is coming in sideways and its pushing on the next to last tooth. and that is pressing the other tooth. Now it all makes sense. So what he says is that they have to cut open the gum and then slice the wisdom tooth and take it out piece by piece. He says to go find a surgeon to do it because hes not that experienced. Just in case we tell him to check the right wisdom tooth too and it turns out its the same thing with this but its not growing right now so there is no pain.

So now i have to find a damn surgeon and get this painfull surgery. On the way back home im pretty hungry so i ask my dad to stop by Taco bell. I order my things and i also order 2 Choco tacos. I get my order and go to the car then i look in the bag and realize i havent gotten my choco tacos. I go back in, the dude goes in the back searches for literally 8 minutes. comes back tells me there is no more. then he says you want something else instead i say no jsut give me the money back. then he tells the indian manager, manager says there should be more in the back. both of them go back and start searching come back after literally another 7 minutes and i finally get my money.

What a bad xxxxin dayyyyyyy!! my tooth still hurts like a xxxxx. and i still havent found out what happened with Armenia-Kazakhstan. lets hope we win

OMG, I'm gonna remove my wisdom teeth too, all 4 of em. It occasionally hurts but not that much so I'm kinda postponing it. Now that I read ur thread I think I better do it soon. Would u let me know after u do it if it hurt much?

        We fall"

Tiko jan, I like this thread, let’s continue. BTW: Good luck with your tooth, stay strong and don’t let the pain get the best of you.

            Dear Diary,

Today I realized that despite of how it appears the most difficult job is not that of an Armenian President, but of a kindergarten teacher. They should get annual medals for emerging with sanity after each year of terror. If you ask me, they are highly underpaid for what they do.

I think when I am ready to have children, I will adopt 25 year olds, so that I don’t have to deal with their crap and they can move out soon enough and leave me alone.

Good luck Tigran! It's not all that bad. I had three of mine removed at once this past summer. All three were impacted as yours are. Ok, maybe a little bad if you get a stupid air pocket stuck where the tooth used to be... It was all vicodin all the time for a good week. ouchy. No fun was having to watch them stick a needle behing on my hand and the drip drip dripping of the anestesia. Then, out like a lamp. As for the recovery process, make sure to always rinse, like as many times a day that they tell you to! =) Also, it's weird because you have those holes in your gums forever it seems. You'll be fiiiiine! And probably look like a chipmunk for a few days. it's ok though, chipmunks are cute.

I don't know ck...after you've described the procedure, "You'll be fiiine!" somehow doesn't sound all that encouraging...

Tiko jan, take a photo of your wisdom tooth and post it, so that we can all be proud of your bravery.

Oops.. Well, Tigran can handle the pain, I'm sure! There is worse pain than wisdom teeth, mostly they're just a pain in the butt. =)
