I don't remember Mikado. I do remember the Napoleon and Ulibka Negra aka Zebra. Those were so good. Thai have something identical to Pticheye Moloko, it is used in their iced tea as a sweetener, but I devoured it with a spoon, very yummy.

You know what I couldn't stand? When I used to take my yearly trips to Gagri, Georgia, my grandfather who lived there and managed a resort called "Armenia" used to have a cake for me every year. I didn't really know him, nor did he ever spend time with me, but I always associated him with a nasty cake with buttery and colorful roses. It was sooo disgusting! The roses were of all different colors and used to be so creamy that you couldn't taste anything else. I used to have nightmares about them. And no Irene, I am not telling you the nature of those nightmares, since there is no hidden meaning, except for my disdain for those darn creamy flowers.
It looked sort of like this.

I can understand how annoying that can be. Lord knows I'd be angry too if my grandfather thought my name was Winston and that I was 68...
