Live Forever!!!

we DO live forever! actually time is a relative concept but i won't go into it!--only on earth do we have terms like the present, the past, the future!--on higher spiritual levels time AND space become fluid and reality is more like Einstein described it, where space curves and the clocks can go faster and slower depending on the observer's velocity(when velocity approaches the speed of light); but for everyday earthly clocks and velocities, Newtonian physics predominates...

death is the soul's transition to another dimension of consciousness...one that cannot be seen with earthly eyes...

and when the time comes, we all long to go back home, where we came from...

If you could live forever, would you? Why?

It's funny you brought this up. I was just thinking a couple nights ago about that "what would nothingness be like" thread I started a while back, which inevitably leads to thoughts of "what the hell would forever be like?", and was going to start a thread about it. I can't really phathom the idea of not having an end to everything. I get the same, odd, inexplicable feeling when I think of nothingness.

If Humans were to live forever, they still wouldn't! After a few centuries Humans would kill eachother untill everyone was dead. However if only a few people, like myself, were allowed to "live forever" I would decline, because:

Living forever would be very boring. You wouldn't care much about reaching high goals or any of that because you'll always think that there's time and there will be time. The whole idea of life being too short is what gets people to act fast or at least to really live life.
