Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

The Problem With John Kerry Is That...

Ever since 9-11, people just don't feel safe anymore. I don't know about how it is in California, but I know that people in the east are deathly afraid of another terrorist attack. I'm sure if the tragedy was closer to home, we wouldn't feel so "ehh whatever" about it. Because of this, some of us feel more secure and comforted by the idea that our leader has seen, and been through a war. To know that he is going to be our "protector" brings a sense of peace to our hearts. I know it's a fantastic idea, and that the president is NOT going to go to war himself, but just the idea is refreshing. During Clinton's term, we didn't have this constant fear of terrorism, as it is so apparent today.

    A little side note:
I have a bumper sticker on the back of my car that reads, "BUCK FUSH". I put it there to get a reaction out of people, and sure enough, IT HAS!! LOL Everytime I see a mercedes, bmw, or VOLVO behind me, with a white, rich, older looking jewish man driving.....I always get flipped off. Another time, I was on the 101 headed towards Glenhell, and I saw this really nice Viper behind me with an old guy in it. Much to my surprise the man was giving me a "thumbs up".....turns out...IT WAS DUSTIN HOFFMAN!!!!!! AHHH I smiled and he smiled back when he came next to me. It was crazy because he sped by with the biggest grin on his face...LMAO...

You, sir, are an idiot. You just contradicted yourself because you mixed the words "Constitution" and "UN" in the same sentence. You show that you not only have no knowledge of American history, but you also lack knowledge of the political system. No where has it ever been mentioned that we have to go to war with U.N. approval. The U.N. is an illusory body of morons created by the United States, who do you think its power is? The U.S. created it, and can act anyway it wants, since what the U.N. shyts out of its ass is not binding. It used to be that only CONGRESS can declare war, and since World War II, there has never been an officially declared war, because there has never been an official war, just the vague and misleading thing we know as "conflicts". This has nothing to do with "lesser of two evils". John Kerry supported the war, and he is another puppet master of the establishment.

In American politics it is the same tired old menu of a Republican hack or a Democratic hack. And we are told that our two-party system is the glory of democracy, and we are supposedly delivering democracy to the world. Oh the irony. A third party candidate who threatens to upset the balance between the big two is considered a “spoiler.” Oh, all right, Ralph Nader has the right to run for president, but it’s just a technical legal right that he shouldn’t actually exercise. He’s being “irresponsible” ( I am not a Nader fan ).

saying a candidate "flip flop" is just a spin tactic that is used to divert attn away from their own negatives...we can say bush flip floped on his reasons for going to war, creating the patriot act, giving tax breaks to the top 1% and the elite, creating corporate loop holes, giving tax breaks to companys that outsource jobs...shall i continue?

Outsourcing is good for the economy. Only people that are ignorant of economics would parrot the stupidity that the Democrats believe outsourcing is bad. Do you even know why outsourcing occurs?

The President stated that he wouldn't go to war without UN support, and congress granted him on that promise and many other he backed out on.

how the hell is outsourcing good? India just took over as the IT capital of the world. After Silicon Valley led it, outsourcing of tech jobs to India and Asia led to unemployment. Same with industrial jobs...

I hate Bush but saying "Nader just doesn't know when to quit" is stupid and unfair. That is right; if a person does not get elected the first time he runs as a third party candidate he should give up. Yeah? Why?

His motives...He has a good message in part...but 2-3 elections, the fact that he can't get on the ballot in half the states gives him really no chance to win...and his republican funded campaign is just another evil tactic of the right wing conspiracists to dodge another election and have our supreme court decide who is President and who isn't/
