Alien vs Predator

There is yet another mindless action edition of alien vs predator. Someone in the hollywood biz thinks the majority of our minds are so deviod of independant thought that we will gladly pay up to see a movie version of a video game. When the movie receipts are counted we will find out the answer....

But what I wanna talk about is who you think would win and why. My choice is without a doubt alien. From the predator movies I've seen I conclude that predator is basicly a wuss with gadgets. Sure he's invisible but that's a gadget. He's got all kind of other gandgets, but pound for pound alien is pure killer and zero gadget filler.

Alien has acid blood, can bite you to death, leaping ability, the list goes on and on. It's clear who my vote goes for.

Alien. Predator's a hunter, big deal. The only thing it REALLY has going for it is the invisibility mode... but since it doesn't seem like Aliens really use optics (they don't seem to have eyes) I don't think it makes a difference. Plus Aliens are just a cooler idea/mythos.

No, I think the Predator is simply the coolest, it looks lean, mean, and fierce. Alien is just too typical, monster like. It has nothing special. Predator is the epitomy of coolness, even on his look alone. I was rooting for Predator the whole time.

I don't think Alien is typical at all. I love how there are so many different stages. First you have the egg, then the face hugger, then the chest burster, and then you get the full grown Alien, which can either be a regular Alien, a warrior Alien (they do look slightly different) or a Queen who is the Ultimate bad ass. Also, since they take on the charcateristics of whatever creature they incubate in, you get cool hybrids like the Dog/Bull one from Alien 3, the Human hybrid in Alien Resurection or like we saw at the end of AVP, the Alien/Predetor hybrid. What are predetors? They all look the same and really no big variations or cool different versions of predetors. Also, the Alien universe is more interesting because it takes place in space in the future where as Predetor has always taken place on Earth an dwhatever the current time period the movie was made in.

I was actually impressed with the movie, didnt think that would have been possible. I would go see it again.

The predators have variations and they look way cooler than the Alien. The Predators have the "I'm a Jamaican Rastafarian Bob Marley" look on steroids. Their intelligence is also better because they actually have and created a civilization. They have very sophisticated weaponry and tactics for fighting. They were worshipped as Gods. Remember it was the Predators that brought the Aliens to hunt in the first place and were revered as Gods. They obviously are superior since they hunt aliens for breakfast. And the last scene of that one alien in a ship with like 500 predators didn't mean much. Look at how many predators were needed for how many aliens. We had 3 predators for like a whole colony of aliens. That goes to show you something.

Predator all the way. Look at it this way. It took Sigourney Weaver to kill an alien. It took Arnold to kill a predator.
