I know "garbage" as "akhp."
I know "head" and "kuhlookh."
I know "why" as "inchu."
I know "street" as "poghots"
I know "car" as "eenknasharj"

And I'm fairly confident that all of those are Armenian.
"Akhpaman", "kulkhavor", "poghotsayeen"...

I think "mekina/mekena" is the word for "machine." I don't know if it is borrowed from Russian, Turkish or Farsi. It seems to be a pretty universal word.

Heradesil and television are both combinations of "distance" and "sight."
Telescope is also, in a sense, a combination of "distance" and "sight", but what's the Armenian?
