    I concur .

As far as racing goes, Initial D, the arcade, has to be my favorite. Using a controller to simulate the whole steering/shifting/pedal action just doesnt cut it.

All time FPS, Counter-Strike. Halo is good, Halo 2 will probably be great, but I would still choose CStrike. Game got so addicting, I had to uninstall it.

The game I wasted the most time on was Diablo II, but I made over $4000 playing it, so I guess it was worth it.

I was heavily into CS when it was still Beta. After the Versions, it kind of lost the interest for me because the game play changed. I couldn't use tactics, and be as mobile as before, and the recoil, aim, and crosshair got messed up as well. Nowadays, any noob can kill you, whereas previously they couldn't.

I also used to play Return To Castle Wolfenstein online. Since I am on a dial-up connection, I would lag everybodys game. I've been kicked off many a server for that. :-)

cs doesnt really require much tactic, just shooting skill and speed. Now, BF requires tactic because battles could last for hours. You need to plan an execute properly to win. BTW, im also an avid fan of CS and day of defeat.

Actually, CS used to require a tremendous amount of tactic & strategy. Back a few years ago, when I was really into it, we were in the Cal League & OGL and without strategy and tactics you could not hope to defeat some of those high ranked teams. You also needed to know exactly how each weapon functioned. (Recoil, spread, etc.) How to use the knife in close range combat. But then the cheats came out and the new patches came with even more bugs and exploits. I remember the level De_Dust and Aztec, we had practiced so much on the attack and defense techniques that every team member knew where to be at exactly what point in time.

Halo is more an all out team rumble, grab the flag game.

I used to be obsessed with those race car games. They were FUN! For example, Need For Speed. I don't play it anymore though.

                I see...

                    I can't get enough of Doom 3.

This games kicks major butt. A little freaky and scary at times, but let's just say its one helluva ride when you got headphones and when you're playin it in the evening with the lights off!

                    Muahahahahah!

tactic matters in cs, but people dont listen to commands and stuff. so organization is usually clumsy. games like BF1942 and DOD require tactic because each round can last for an hour. You need careful organization and use of your forces. The bigger the team, the more tactics make a difference.
