He's talking about the first.
It wasn't staying totally still. I tried using flash and it made it move more, so I stopped. That, and the color wasn't coming out how I liked.
As far as proximity... I was also about a foot from it. It wasn't moving much so I was a bit more comfortable getting close to it.
