Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

The very label [conspiracy] serves as an automatic dismissal, as though no one ever acts in secret. Let us bring some perspective and common sense to this issue.
The United States comprises large organizations - corporations, bureaucracies, "interest groups," and the like - which are conspiratorial by nature. That is, they are hierarchical, their important decisions are made in secret by a few key decision-makers, and they are not above lying about their activities. Such is the nature of organizational behavior. "Conspiracy," in this key sense, is a way of life around the globe.
Within the world's military and intelligence apparatuses, this tendency is magnified to the greatest extreme. During the 1940s, [...] the military and its scientists developed the world's most awesome weapons in complete secrecy... [...]
Anyone who has lived in a repressive society knows that official manipulation of the truth occurs daily. But societies have their many and their few. In all times and all places, it is the few who rule, and the few who exert dominant influence over what we may call official culture. - All elites take care to manipulate public information to maintain existing structures of power. It's an old game.
America is nominally a republic and free society, but in reality an empire and oligarchy, vaguely aware of its own oppression, within and without. I have used the term "national security state" to describe its structures of power. It is a convenient way to express the military and intelligence communities, as well as the worlds that feed upon them, such as defense contractors and other underground, nebulous entities. Its fundamental traits are secrecy, wealth, independence, power, and duplicity.
Nearly everything of significance undertaken by America's military and intelligence community in the past half-century has occured in secrecy. The undertaking to build an atomic weapon, better known as the Manhattan Project, remains the great model for all subsequent activities. For more than two years, not a single member of Congress even knew about it although its final cost exceeded two billion dollars...

Originally posted by AnonymouseTo my knowledge, no blackbox was ever recovered from the world trade center and if it was, the jury is silent, as nothing was revealed. Conspiracies are not something people just "come up with", it is a fact of life, history and politics. I'll let Richard M. Dolan speak:
Before quoting and defending the mainstream version perhaps it is important to examine the opposite side as well from the basics. For example, how do we explain the unscathed lawn in front of the Pentagon?

anon...are you talking about the second plane at WTC which looked like it had modefied wings with like a missile thing strapped to it? and also, the plane model was slights diffrent then the plane that took off from Logan ariport in Boston...which means that this modefied plane was actually not the plane that took off from Boston.
There are pics with diffrent angles and all of them reveal that there was some sort of a missile attacked to the plane.
Oh and did you read about how WTC was "demolished" down with explosives that were already planted in the building? I think it was said that the owner wanted insurace or something like that.

As for the conspiracy theories, I don't fully believe the government version, nor the disinformation version. But I do think we are after the wrong "enemy" nonetheless, and that is the government's doing.

The terrorist attacks shocked an already weakened U.S.
economy into recession by sapping consumer confidence,
causing demand for air travel to deteriorate. At the three
major airports, passenger traffic, which was projected
to achieve new highs, dropped by a total 11.5 percent
for the year, the largest decline in our regionfs history.
Aircraft movements declined by 7.1 percent and cargo
volume fell 23 percent from the prior year. Airport
parking revenues were also down, by about 30 percent.
In the wake of the terrorist attacks, more stringent
security measures at the regionfs airports posed
challenges as airlines followed new federal mandates
for passenger screening and baggage handling.
At the bistate regionfs interstate tunnels and bridges,
annual traffic volumes declined for the first time since
1994. Eastbound traffic for the year 2001 totaled
121.9 million vehicles ? 3.5 percent below 2000
levels. Traffic at the Holland and Lincoln tunnels fell
10.6 percent, due primarily to the closure of the
Holland Tunnel from September 11 through October 14,
as well as by the single-occupancy vehicle restrictions at
the two tunnels following the attacks.

What I still don't get is, if for example Flight 77 didn't hit the Pentagon and the second flight that hit the Twin Towers was really a missle... what happened to those planes and people on them? Also apparantly the bodies of all the Pentagon plane victims were recovered and given back to the families. Now obviously this could have been faked by the government and different body parts could have been returned to the families, but that doesn't explain what happened to these people. One of them for example was the wife of the US Solicitor General, someone very high up in the government and a possible future nominee to the Supreme Court. These were not no name people who would just be forgotten about and ignored. Where did they go? Is the government holding them hostage somewhere deep underground or something, to live out the rest of their lives? Were the kidnapped and all murdered? This all sounds extremely nefarious and extremely illegal. The before-mentioned Solicitor General certainly has a lot of connections in the government and would use those to try and find if the government was holding his wife or something... none of it makes sene. I just can't fathom any of it. I have heard many conspiracies about what really hit the Pentagon and WTC, but they never address what happened to the people on the planes! Someone please explain any possible explanations because I sure have no idea and therefor can't believe the alternate stories.
