I really want to finish this drawing and make it look good but it takes a lot of time. I want it to look a bit like This

As for photoshop, I know it and used it a few times but I prefer paintshop pro

I usually only use Paintshop pro to do some art but I tried to draw first then use paintshop pro...I'm rather bad at drawing but I tried to make it look better with PSP....

I started out with PSP, but then Moved to photoshop. Much better.

I know, PSP is a bit more easy to use but photoshop is more for the ones that are already good at PSP. I'll moove on to photoshop when I get a bit better

Also, I used to paint and draw mostly abstract expressionist stuff heavily influenced by my uncle and I went to Atanian's Art Center when I was a kid.

Oo wow, you did abstract expressionistic work . We were studying that in my abstract class for the last project. I can say that was the first time in that class I struggled. It was so hard for me to break free and let the paint and the brush do its work. I really do have more of an appreciation for those artists and their artwork of course.

I love to see some of your painting, if you would like to post them.

I also included what I did directly with PSP without prior drawings first:
(they are normally 10 times bigger but theres a 100kbytes limit )

I paint...or at least I used to. I painted a lot when I was in high school and took art classes, now I barely have any time. I've actually missed holding a brush in my hand, hopefully I'll be able to get back to it over christmas break. All my paintings are stuffed in the garage so I'll have to dig deep and get them out to take pics before I can post them here, if I ever even bother to go searching for them that is..hehehehe.

I'm not an artist but I used to be an art student. I did pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolor, oil. It involved nothing by nudes, still lifes, portraits. I was never into my own style. If you google my name it gives results.

How about you make it easier on us and post the links to your work?
