I'm not so sure about that... This year, during the "building" Christmas Party, they are making all the men dress up like elf's... for what I don't know.

And besides... all my co-workers tend to get kind of heavy during this time of year... I think its from all the parties

I don't mind dressing up like elves or getting heavy (look at my profile, I need to gain some fat )..

Yeah... where do you work that you have such a huge floor full of workers all of whom you seem to know??

I work in a building that has seven floors... we know everyone in the building at least by name... but my floor has the most people because it's Human Resources... and everyone works with everyone else on my floor because everything that we do is interconnected. Also, we see eachother every day, we have monthly staff meetings for the entire floor, we have birthday celebrations/parties every month... we are very close.

ahhhh human resoruces! Shoulda guessed.

We're too busy here to have parties all the time. We have birthday cakes for birthdays and then we have a 'holiday potluck' on Dec. 15. That's about it.

As Baron said, we celebrate and have a 'materialistic' time on New Years Eve. Christmas is for family dinner and church.

yep, we put ours up the day after Thanksgiving, which is actually really early for us cause we usually wait like 2 weeks before Christmas. And although we celebrate Christmas on December 25th we still keep it up till Jan 6, recognizing Armenian Christmas.
